If it's anything like what I've experienced in my last 16 years
contributing to open source, I'm sure that what Dirk is feeling is
more like the following request:
"just get it done, it's not hard, and I need it now despite the fact
I'm not going to pay you, will actively work against your career
goals, and don't give a hoot about you".
Well, perhaps not all at once, but some peoples attitudes are pretty
crass and shameless.
It's actually not hard to put together a quantian release. I've
remastered it a few times a few years ago.
But it does take up a great deal of time, and personally, I'd prefer
and work to support and thank Dirk for his other activities which are
absolutely critical to saving months of my time.
I think I still owe him a few beers (a few have been personally
"paid", I'm not quite so shameless!)
