This is already fixed in git:

~/reportbug$ PYTHONPATH=. ./bin/reportbug -A ../ua.xml
Welcome to reportbug! Since it looks like this is the first time you have used
...
~/reportbug$ PYTHONPATH=. ./bin/reportbug --version
reportbug 4.2

so it will be in the next upload.
