I hadn't known about linux-image. I've send the BTS owners a mail to remove
this pseudo package as well, so please remove it from reportbug likewise.

I suppose the best solution would be a short status message, like
'The pseudo packages "kernel" and "linux-image" have been removed,'
'filing the report against the linux-2.6 source package'
