thanks A TON for this fix!

I've prepared an updated package, available at:
http://people.debian.org/~morph/reportbug/ . It would be awesome if
someone that faced this issue could install the 2 debs on that link
and verify if it's fixed now.

If I get some acknowledges that this package fixes the problems, I'll
upload to unstable and ask for an unblock.
