to me its just two companies. I'd like to understand why gitlab.com is
better than github.com.

meanwhile, https://salsa.debian.org/salsa/support/issues/29 has been
filed, which i have at least three issues with:

- i think the group name should be "reproducible-builds" not
  "reproducible"
- i'm not sure we should use salsa at all, see this very thread, we have
  many non-Debian contributors…
- why file this issue before this thread has ended?
