[sane-devel] HP 7400c

Hi all

I would like to ask, whether there is any progress with the hp7400c (with
Avision chipset) to be supported by sane. 

The last trace I found is an email from Luc Lalonde, who describes that he's
able to see the scanner in scsi listing (like me) like this:

using the hpusbscsi module. I'm also able to see the scanner with scanimage -L
(independently found the HP/hp problem described by Luc) 

[root@samson ~]# scanimage -L
device `avision:/dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target0/lun0/generic' is a hp
scanjet 7400c    flatbed scanner


The scanner just freezes at start_scan when I run scanimage.
