[sane-devel] HP Backend problem

Hi,

I have a HP C6270A scanner and use XSane to scan images. But i've a little
problem with the HP backend.
Apparently the 1.0.5 backend switches of the light of the scanner after each
and every scan. Version 1.0.3 does not do this, but leaves the light on. I'm
sure it is better to leave the light on, because switching it on, off, on,
off,... is rather bad for a light. The HP scanner has a buildin timeout and
will switch the light off automagically.
Can you please fix this or put an option in the hp.conf file so the user has
the choice?
