Hi,

I'm currently porting the NT driver of the Plustek USB devices given me from 
Plustek. These devices are LM983x based devices. The code also includes
the settings of about 15 different devices (and manufacturers like 
Genius/KYE).
I've not released anything yet but I hope to finish this task this fall.
I've already done the integration to the plustek backend...
I think that the code can be used to make other devices work by simply
adding the correct init values.
As the supported devices are CCD based scanners, we might have to check
how this affects CID devices like the Bearpaw....
