[sane-devel] "scsi * * Scanner" not working?

This happens with devices returning an empty vendor or product (only
spaces). I mentioned this problem some weeks ago and Abel Deuring sent
me a patch for testing, but it hasn't been applied. I just committed
it to CVS. Please test.
