[sane-devel] SANE installed, scanimage --list-devices returns no result

Hi...I don't want to be a pest, but am I missing something here?

scanimage --list-devices basically sits for quite a while (have tried waiting 
in excess of 10 minutes) until I kill it, and returns no result.

I've tried powering the scanner off and on, unplugging it from the parallel 
port and plugging it back in again...

Could it be a libieee problem?  I can't see anything in /proc relating to the 
parallel port, but in dev, /parport0 - 7 are listed.
