[sane-devel] make problem on darwin with latest cvs

I changed configure.in quite heavily, so this may be the cause.

Please show me the part of config.log that starts with
configure:7460: checking for getenv
upto the result of this check.

For some reason lib/getenv.c is compiled on your platform. It
shouldn't, if getenv is available.

I guess MaxOS X does have getenv?
