I tested 1650 with 60 seconds timeout.
It works correct with resolution up to 3200.
I have question about frontend.
I scan negative film using xsane 0.84, sane 1.0.5, epson backend 0.2.19.
I discover more natural color if I use iscan 1.0.1 with backend 0.3.00
from http://www.epkowa.co.jp
His frontend doesn't so userfriendly as xsane.
For example I need to repeat preview scan after scan each shot.
It also scan again when I want zoom.
