I would like to install a scanjet HP 5300C under Mandrake 8.2
I have re-compiled the kernel with scsi generic suport checked and build =
as module HP53XX usb scanner support.
But no scanner is detected=20
/proc/scsi/scsi is empty.

What does I have to do now ?
