SINGLE ARTICLE posted on sane-devel?

Do NOT send unsubscribe mails to mailing lists.  Never.  It doesn't
make sense to send them to all the other readers.  What shall they do
with your request? 

Here is part of the mail I just have sent to the other guy who sent an
unsubscribe mail to the list:

The only one who can do this is you and you get a monthly reminder on
how to do it.  The address is even listed in the signature of every
single posting. I'll quote it here:

Go to the mentioned website, enter your email address in the last
field, press enter, enter your password and press unsubscribe.

Or use the other way to unsubscribe mentioned in the monthly reminder.
