Hi Karl, In at least 3 places, replace "your" by "your're" or "you are". And most of the new distribution support hotplug, so it shouldnt be necessary to insmod or modprobe the scanner driver. The parameters to the scanner (if necessary) can be written into /etc/modules.conf. Except that, your document looks fine to me. Regards, Frank.
