Hi everybody.

I've a scanjet 5400c scanner, and I'm using Debian. Few months ago I had
the backend (hp5400) working fine, but now I can't do that.

This are tha package that I've installed:
ii libsane 1.0.13-2
ii sane 1.0.11-3
ii sane-utils 1.0.13-2
ii xsane 0.91-6

In the /etc/sane.d/dll.conf I anly have one line :
hp5400

And in /etc/sane.d/hp5400.conf : (only ane line too)
usb 0x03F0 0x1005

The utility "sane-find-scanner" return me this :

found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0, product=0x1005) at /dev/usb/scanner0
found USB scanner (vendor=0x03f0 [Hewlett-Packard], product=0x1005 [HP
Scanjet 5400C Series]) at libusb:001:002

And scanimage -L :

#scanimage -L

No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).

And if I do
#cat /proc/bus/usb/devices :
T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 2 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=03f0 ProdID=1005 Rev= 0.00
S: Manufacturer=Hewlett-Packard
S: Product=HP Scanjet 5400C Series
S: SerialNumber=CN1651F0V1ST
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=e0 MxPwr= 48mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=10(unk. ) Sub=01 Prot=00 Driver=usbscanner
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=83(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 1 Ivl=10ms

I'm doing somthing bad but can't see what !

PS: Sorry for my poor english.
