[sane-devel] Info on the HP ScanJet 5550c

Hi all,
I recently acquired a HP ScanJet 5550c. This model comes with an ADF.
I see that this scanner is listed as unsupported by all the sane backends,
so if anyone is interested, I'd be glad to provide any info that you need to
get this scanner working. I have a little programming experience, but
unfortunately not enough to do anything as difficult as writing a driver.
BTW, I'm running Mandrake 9.2, using the 2.4.x kernel compiled for the i686.
