[sane-devel] Lexmark X73

Hi All

This lexmark scanner worked fine using mandrake. I have since changed to 
Debian, and whilst my scanner is recognised I am unable to use it.

here is output of scanimage -L
device `gt68xx:/dev/usb/scanner0' is a Lexmark X73 flatbed scanner
device `gt68xx:/dev/usbscanner' is a Lexmark X73 flatbed scanner
device `gt68xx:/dev/usbscanner0' is a Lexmark X73 flatbed scanner

Now I'm don't know how to read whats going on here, and if I open Gimp or 
XSane, none of these 3 detected usbscanners will initialise.

Could someone throw me a few pointers please.
