Further to my post on the above I also wish to state that after compilation of the latest source, the scanner port changed from a usb one to a scsi-generic one. I presume this is by design? Or should I attempt to change the port back to usb since the scanner is connected to a usb port? Thanks in advance Pramathesh Ambasta
