Hi all,

I've replaced the call to fork() with sanei_thread library calls in
the snapscan backend. I've tested it with an USB scanner on Linux
using fork() and pthreads, but I'd be interested in more tests, maybe
even on other platforms.

The current version can be found in SANE CVS.

Regards,

Oliver
