[sane-devel] FreeBSD 5.2 open device failed

The scanner is detected well by sane but it fails to open the device as you
see below.

I use the default 5.2 kernel. The scanner ist he only SCSI device.

The scanner works fine on my windows laptop.  

Any idea anyone?
