Hi everyone,

As sane-backends 1.0.16 is now released, code freeze is over. Please
commit all the patches that you have created meanwhile :-)

Please also have a look at our platforms page:
http://www.sane-project.org/sane-support.html

While I can test compilation on quite some Unix systems, I can only
test actual scanning on Linux i386 and FreeBSD i386.
So if you have access to any other platform, please try compilation
and try if scanning works and tell us about the results.

ftp.sane-project.org and its mirrors doesn't have the 1.0.16 release
yet because I can't access it at the moment. I hope this can be fixed
soon.

Concerning ibiblio.org, it usually takes some days until the new
release will be visible.

Happy hacking,

Henning
