Any. While batch scanning is most useful with automati document
feeders it can be used with normal flatbed scanning also. I've used
that for fast copying of documents (exchnage the document during the
scan slider moves back).

Already included in SANE standard version 2. For details see website

saneopts.h is only a proposal. Only the options mentioned in the SANE
standard must be implemented in the way defined there (if they are
implemented at all).
