[sane-devel] experimental hp scanjet 2400 genesys backend support?

I would like to know if scanjet 2400 (using GL_646_HP) is supposed to
work with experimental genesys or genesys-new.

I had compiled them both (using sane-cvs) but none of them seems to
work. I wonder is there sense of sending detailed bugreport if they
are not supposed to work at all (genesys-new succeed of moving the
motor).

p.s.
The scanner is second hand and expreamly cheap. I have very limited
time to accept or decline the offer.
