I needed a new kernel that would be enabled for two things that my existing kernel was not. Unfortunately, after compiling and installing, xsane claimed it couldn't find any devices. Can anyone tell me me what it is that I should enable in the new kernel when I reconfigure, it to keep sane/xsane happy?
