Hi, everyone.

I am considering purchasing a Pacific Image Electronics PrimeFilm
3650 ProE film scanner, mainly for use with my MacOS X machine. Just
in the interests of compatibility, I wondered if anyone had ever used
it under SANE. A check of the compatibility list suggests not, but I
thought I'd ask in case anyone was working on anything or considering
it.

The 3650 is a fairly inexpensive scanner with both Firewire and USB
interfaces, and it has DigitalICE (IR channel) and a built-in roll
feeder, which is why I'm interested.

As I said, the primary application of said scanner wouldn't be on my
Linux machine anyway, but it would be a bonus if at some point in the
future it were compatible. Any opinions or thoughts anyone has would
be welcome.
