[sane-devel] configure: error: no acceptable grep could be found

Hi Franz,

I recently made a small change to configure.in, regenerated configure (by
running autoconf) and checked the files into CVS.

While my changes do not explicitly impose the restrictions that you
describe it is possible that my version of autoconf is not playing nicely.

If you have autoconf you could try running it and see if the resulting
configure script works better for you.

Other SANE folks: Is there an officially blessed version of autoconf
that should be used for this?

cheers,
Jon
