[sane-devel] lamp warms up ....

Bonjour,

I have an epson 3490 photo scanner and it is very slow: using the debug
environment variable, I can see that it is warming up for every scan,
even if I ask it to scan two documents within an interval of 10s!

warming up last between 25 an 40 s which is a "big" delay and it takes a
lot of time to scan a few pages....

I am using  xsane-0.994-2 from fedora 6 distro.

Thanks for any advice (and solution?).

PS. This does not occur if I use iscan instead of sane, but sane is
better...
