I say use PIXMA_CAP_ADF and PIXMA_CAP_ADFDUP and use macros to test.

i.e. 
#define PIXMA_HAS_ADF(x) ((x) & 1<<2)
#define PIXMA_HAS_ADFDUP(x) ((x) & (1<<7))
