[sane-devel] Cross compilation on Moxa embedded device

Good day,

I wish to cross compile "sane" to run on a Moxa W345 embedded device.

I have done the following:

1.) Download the "sane" source code for both the backend and
frontend.

2.) Installed the Moxa tool chain on my Slackware based PC.

3.) Looked at the sane project's make files.

As I see it the step forward is to modify the makefiles to use the Moxa
cross compiler.

After this I should be able to copy the relevant files over to the Moxa
device.

The problem is that this makefiles are complicated and my experience
level in setting such files up are low.

What I need to know is:

1.) Is there somebody that has done this, that can give me some
pointers to how the process should work.

2.) Can anybody give me any idea how to modify the makefiles.
(Setting up the cross compiler? What else?)

Thanks In advance

Jan Coetzer
