[sane-devel] Can't get SANE to recognize my HP Scanjet 3570c scanner

1. did you configure the new sane with the appropriate settings to
overwrite your distro's copy? if not, it may still be using the old
copy.

2. did you remove distro's copy BEFORE you did make install? if not,
you may still have the old config files in /etc/sane.d/, instead of
the ones that go with 1.0.19, and the old libs are still there too.

3. if you have done these, then get a debug log like this:

SANE_DEBUG_HP3500=255 scanimage -L
