[sane-devel] SCSI-scanners and HAL / patch for sane-desc.c

Dear listmembers,
along with this email please find a suggested patch against sane-desc.c. It
takes care for integrating SCSI-devices into the hal infrastructure, creates
consistent permissions for devices for both USB and SCSI scanners and allows
to specify the target permissions (ownership / groupship / access flags) via
a define on the compiler commandline, not modifying the defaults.

Comments are welcome, and be assured I am not the world best programmer
around.

Take care

Dieter Jurzitza
