[sane-devel] sane-devel Digest, Vol 48, Issue 31

Hi Sivananda,
Pierre Willenbrock is the maintainer of the GL84x branch of the Genesys backend. You should be able to find his email by going through the mailing list archives.

I started to write a beginners guide to adding a scanner to the genesys backend. It is incomplete, but may help you get started. http://sites.google.com/site/roadwarriorscanner/sheetfed-scanner/adding-scanner-genesys-backend

Also, in the 2008 mailing lists there is a long running exchange between Guillaume Gastebois and Pierre trying to add support for the Canon Lide 90. This would be good background reading for adding the Lide 100.

P.S. I am not interested or qualified to tackle this project for you.

Jack McGill

Hi Allan,
First of all, I thank you for your interest. I know my contribution may be a fraction of your income, but the impression of your success will be recognised and create a fame in this field.

I have no knowledge of contacting anybody in gensys or any media. If you can spare your valuable time in making us to feel great and complete the job, you will not only going to support us but to the many poor people who have purchased this scanner in this region to make use of it in their educational progress. pls help us.
Thanks
Regards
Sivananda
