[sane-devel] almost there with my Epson

I almost have scanning set up with my Epson CX3810 on my new imac.
I downloaded and installed the SANE packages.
I configured the epson.config file
In system preferences under print/fax, I see scan as an option. When I  
start to scan, it looks for the scanner, analyzes, and just when it  
starts to scan it says "SANE is disconnected."

What's the last step??
