[sane-devel] Epson SX510W not working with ethernet

You might want to try iscan/epkowa. It officially supports the Epson Stylus 
SX510W, the network interface is supported via the iscan-network-nt proprietary 
plugin.

You can download the driver from here:
http://www.avasys.jp/lx-bin2/linux_e/spc/DL2.do

You'll have to scroll all the way to the bottom and fill out the short 
questionnaire to access the scanner drivers.

You'll need to download and install the appropriate iscan, iscan-data and 
iscan-network-nt packages for your system.
