	Hello,

	I'm afraid I'm running short of ideas. We know the scanner and the backend 
are working. I think it would interesting to use a live CD of the ubuntu 
version known to work on the other PC, and to test the scanner with it. If it 
works, that would validate the hardware and we may start to think of an issue 
with the installed version.
