Hi all,

  as m.allan noah recommended in his last post (see below) I used USBSnoop
to generate a log (find it enclosed).
Is anybody recognizing the Protocol used, or is anybody able and willing to
writer/modify a driver ?

The usb interface looks simple enough, very few endpoints. Can you get a
trace of the windows driver making a small black and white scan using this
tool: http://www.pcausa.com/Utilities/UsbSnoop/ Then zip the log, and send
it to the list. Perhaps someone will recognize the protocol.

There are individuals on this list who will write and/or modify drivers.
Some do this for free or for hardware donation, others do it for payment.
