OS: Mac OS X 10.6

In manual tables to configure scanner you have (example):
Vendor CANON − ID: 0x04A9

in MAC correct ID is:
Vendor ID:	0x04a9  (Canon Inc.)

(you can see it in devices connected to USB bus in:
'About this mac>  more info')

When I use BIG letter "A" instead of "a" in vendor ID my mac can't see the scanner.
Also, finding Vendor and prouct ID is easier that way, instead of searching on web page.
