[sane-devel] --compression backend support

Attached is a patch which should fix the problem, though they may
apply with some fuzz. It also enables the experimental frame types, so
you should be able to use this to replace your existing patch. Thanks
for the heads up-  I'll commit a fix to git repo shortly.
