Using sane 1.0.20 on Ubuntu Karmic, when I try to connect to a scanner provided
over the network by another machine running saned, xsane gets a segfault with
the following stack trace:

#0  sane_net_get_devices (device_list=0xbfffce9c, local_only=0) at net.c:1263
#1  0x00131e92 in sane_dll_get_devices (device_list=0x80ebb88, local_only=0)
    at dll.c:1037
#2  0x0012f9b4 in sane_get_devices (dl=0x80ebb88, local=0) at dll-s.c:17
#3  0x080cd40d in ?? ()
#4  0x080cd5a9 in ?? ()

    rtld_fini=0x11dd20 <_dl_fini>, stack_end=0xbffff76c) at libc-start.c:220
#7  0x0804f591 in ?? ()

Surely this must be known by now, but googling could not find anything.

Thots?
