[sane-devel] network scanning does not work

Hello,

I have an Epson Perfection 1650 USB scanner connected to a machine which acts 
as server.

scanimage -L on the server gives this:

device `epkowa:libusb:001:011' is a Epson Perfection 1650 flatbed scanner

device `net:localhost:epkowa:libusb:001:011' is a Epson Perfection 1650 
flatbed scanner

scanimage -L on the client gives this:

device `net:192.168.1.3:epkowa:libusb:001:011' is a Epson Perfection 1650 
flatbed scanner

But, when I invoke skanlite the scanner starts to work, but on the client 
machine I cannot see anything, no image, nothing.

Network setup seems fine, I can telnet to the saned on the server and I can 
see the scanner on the client, but no scanned image is delivered to the 
clinet...

What could be wrong there? I have no clue, since network setup seems to be 
absolutely fine.

Version on the server side is sane-backends-1.0.19-99.1 i586 and on the client 
side i use sane-backends-1.0.20-8.3.x86_64

Server is openSUSE 11.1 i586 and Client is openSUSE 11.2 x86_64
