Your scanner should work on Fedora 13 with iscan. Did you make sure to download
and install all three necessary packages?

You'll need the following packages from the download page:
  - iscan-data-1.3.0-2.noarch.rpm
  - iscan-2.26.0-3.ltdl7.x86_64.rpm (for 64-bit OS)
  - iscan-plugin-gt-s600-2.1.0-3.c2.x86_64.rpm (for 64-bit OS)
  - iscan-2.26.0-3.ltdl7.i386.rpm (for 32-bit OS)
  - iscan-plugin-gt-s600-2.1.0-3.c2.i386.rpm (for 32-bit OS)

You'll need to reconnect the scanner to the computer after installation for
device permissions to be correctly setup.

If the problem persists, try scanning as root. If you can scan as root but not
as a regular user, then this indicates a permissions issue and we'll have to dig
a little further to find the cause of the problem.

Happy scanning,
