[sane-devel] saned issue on Debian stable

Greetings, I'll cut to the chase.

when run with debug, i get the following;

[saned] main: starting debug mode (level 8)
[saned] read_config: searching for config file

I also tried changing the saned port in /etc/services which made no
difference.

I'm open to suggestions.
