That'd be nice.  Two comments:

The epkowa.desc file is included in doc/descriptions-external and I
(normally) send patches to the mailing list for inclusion.  Is there
anything else that should be done?

Shouldn't there be a "# " before "uder /etc/udev/hwdb.d/.\n"?
