I already sent a membership request on alioth for my user thkoch-guest with 
the following message:

Subject: hp 5590 adf duplex

I have the impression that I need to become a project member just to mark two 
bugs as duplicate (314425, 313960) and to add the comment that a solution 
strategy has been proposed in this mail:
