Thanks. I had a look and indeed they are *very* pricey. That's even a
completely different range of price. While Mustek scanners are in the
hundreds of EUR range, the Fujitsu are in the thousands range.
Maybe they are a lot better though, and if they give documentation are
FLOSS-friendly, but my current wallet would not allow me to buy these.

For information, I contacted Mustek, and they confirmed me that all
their scanners are compatible with Linux, even A3 2400S, which is not
written as such.
They also told me that the front button won't be supported on Linux
right now though, so the advantage of models such as A3F1200N/A3F2400N
is lessened.

I sent another email asking about the 32/64 bit part, since I hadn't
noticed this when I first sent the email.
