[sane-devel] cropped stripes in big scans?

I'm quite willing to, only I'd like some advise 
on methodology.

How to expose/provoke such kind of potential 
problem?

Having several successful consecutive scans 
wouldn't prove anything yet, it could be just a 
fluke, right?
