[sane-devel] Difficulty with HP 5300C in Ubuntu - sane_start: error during device I/O

Any other suggestions? Ideally, I wouldn't move away from the supported /
updated software provided by Ubuntu.

> sane-backends 1.0.23 is pretty old. it is possible a later version of
sane-backends might help.
