<div>I want to make this scanner work with SANE. I opened up the scanner and looks like this scanner uses Genesys Logic 842 chipset (very similar to 841). </div>

<div>I'm able to make few modifications to the genesys backend and make this scanner recognized by "scanimage" program. </div>

<div>The lights come on and even the "xsane" recognizes the scanner. However, I'm unable to make the motor work. </div>

<div>Anybody has any idea on this? </div>
