I'm trying to figure out how to manipulate scanners via saned on
Mac OS X. I have the SANE Preference Pane installed and have checked
"Activate Scanner Sharing using saned". The port range is defined as
6566 - 6567. I can go into Terminal and do 'telnet localhost 6566' and
get the response "Connected to localhost". Good sign but I have no
idea at all of how to send any of the commands required to get scanner
info or perform scanning operations. Can anyone here help?<br>
